Dubai Silicon Oasis 5 Towers, Dubai

This project was originally a part of a single development initiated by DSOA in the year 2006. With the onset of recession during construction two years later, 5 of the 7 towers were redesigned and constructed by Emirates Airlines to offer a contemporary residential facility to its crew. All the 25-storey tall towers with over 650 apartments are planned around an enormous landscaped garden of approximately 14709 sq. m.

All apartments needed to be 3-BR type with a size of 140 sq. m. This contrasted with the original requirements of DSOA. Since the structural grid and rafts were designed and already cast on site, the biggest challenge was to work with the existing substructure, while fulfilling the needs of the client and upgrade the design to meet latest statutory requirements; all this, without any compromise on planning principles and design.
