Premier Inn Hotel, DSO, Dubai

The Premier Inn located in the bustling community of Dubai Silicon Oasis is a no-fills budget hotel that promises business and leisure travelers a good night’s sleep. A 15-minute drive from Dubai International Airport, the hotel is situated just off Sheikh Zayed Road, the city’s main artery. For its first venture outside the UK, Premier Inn, sought to adapt the brand standards with minimal changes to suit the Middle East market. Interesting elevation elements were proposed for this project in a bid to make the hotel a seamless fit in Dubai’s iconic landscape. Identical room design with best acoustics marks the hotel’s foray into the MENA region.

The architectural design of Premier Inn, Dubai Silicon Oasis follows the distinct approach to a standard budget hotel. Overcoming the restraint of small plot size, the hotel adopts courtyard planning that achieves maximum guest rooms on each floor, with some of the rooms overlooking the large, ventilated courtyard. The building comprises basement parking and back-of-house usage, public areas on the ground floor and 230 guest rooms distributed over six typical floors.
