Commercial Building, Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Set on a quadrangular plot tapering at one end, the building is designed as a dynamic curvilinear form along the physical contours of the plot.

With offices meant to cater to the IT sector, the development comprises three basements with stack parking; and ground + 15 levels with intermittent setbacks, each with a floor plate of 19,000 sq. ft. creating an architectural language with a distinctive flavour. The west-facing front façade is liable to substantial heat gain, hence the glazing is strategically and aesthetically wrapped in a ribbon-like fabric of GRC elements to create a double skin. This climatically sensitive design approach gives rise to a dynamic and iconic built form.
