Westin Hotel and Spa has been designed by Archgroup Consultants - well known Architectural firm in Hospitality Design
At 9 stories high this 5 star luxury beach resort is a masterpiece in the Italian Renaissance style. The intricate design and monumental grandeur is reminiscent of a traditional Italian palazzo. The talented team of Hotel Architects from Archgroup carried out an in depth study of the various elements to achieve the desired results. The fine details used on the elevations and other building elements were developed by the extensive use of cladding and GRC mould features and motifs. The design also incorporates a soaring central atrium crowned with a magnificent stained glass dome.
Archgroup Consultants have clearly defined the three basic components in the complex, namely, the Hotel, the Banquet Hall and the Business Center. This is reflected in the planning with the 9 storey hotel flanked on both sides by the banquet hall and the Business center. The entrance lobby is located at the first floor level and is approached by a grand driveway which climbs around a stepped lawn and water feature. Taking inspiration from a traditional piazza in an Italian town, the entrance plaza thus prepares one to step into a journey of the Renaissance time.
The hotel facilities include 274 rooms, 23 executive suites, banquet halls, restaurants, leisure and recreational facilities and a well equipped business centre. Most of the guest rooms are sea facing and enjoy the scenic view of the beach facilities and landscaped gardens.
Completed in 2008, it has set a new benchmark for theme based Hotel Design Architects in Dubai.
