FLIGHT TRAINING ACADEMY, DUBAI WORLD CENTRAL, DUBAI is designed and managed in house by leading Design Architects and Project Management Consultants, Archgroup.
The Proposed Emirates Flight Training Organisation Facilities at DWC, Dubai will cater to 400 full time, on-site cadets.
The intention is that the FTA will not only cater to the National Airline Cadet but attract private funded aviators and other airline sponsored cadets from across the globe. Emirates Airlines aims to build the most technologically advanced and state of the art FTA in the world thus posing a challenging task for the Architects.
The brief for the Archgroup was for the facilities to be divided in to two main categories i.e. Airside Facilities and the Landside Facilities.
The Landside Facility will include the Academy building, the Mosque, Housing, Recreational & Dining Facilities.
The Airside Facility will include the Aircraft Maintenance Hangars & Engineering section, shelter for Emergency Vehicles, Apron and parking bays for the Aircrafts, all Taxiways, the Runway and the Satellite Control Tower & Access road. Keeping the scale and complexity of the project in mind, the Archgroup Project Management Consultants team is worked hand in hand with the inhouse Architects right from day one to deliver the best product in time.
