Emirates Staff Residences, Dubai

The architectural theme is based on the New York art deco style. This housing development designed for the staff of Emirates Airlines has 5 blocks with heights varying from 6 to 11 storeys and a total of 825 units. All the blocks are designed on similar lines with modular units. The element of interest is maintained by the arrangement of the apartments around carefully designed internal spaces. Every element of the building is simple and repetitive in nature keeping in view the proposed usage, cost and ease of construction. On the whole, the design represents a highly functional and cost effective building.
