Emirates Tourism Village, Dubailand, Dubai

Dubailand, Dubai, UAE

The Emirates Airlines staff residential project in a 500 hectare plot in Dubailand comprises of nearly 3800 villas and 3024 apartments. Interestingly, the macro-level planning is organic in form with gentle sweeping curves that sub-divide the plot into smaller neighbourhoods. However at each neighbourhood level, the circulation and planning is organized and orderly.

The villas have 3 different categories namely the executive, twin and town house. Each neighbourhood has these types in different themes such as Arabic, Modern and Spanish. This creates variety and identity for each neighbourhood.

Adequate community facilities like recreation zones, landscaped parks, and leisure and retail areas are within easy reach of the residents. The main facilities are in the central park surrounded by the apartment blocks. Careful road and pedestrian planning link the smaller neighbourhood facilities, allowing all residents to avail the facilities with ease.
